I was watching the Republican National Convention on C-Span last night, and heard one of the most touching stories shared by Wes Gullett and his daughter, Nicki. Here’s the video:
Seeing those two beautiful young women who were rescued from a life of poverty brought me to tears. What a wonderful story of love! You can read more about it here.

What a wonderful photo! I haven’t been a huge fan of John McCain, but this just warms my heart. What a kind gesture to a young woman caught in the midst of a despicable media maelstrom! I’m content with voting for him now. I may not agree with all his decisions, but I believe he’s a decent man of good character, and I’ll be supporting him in this election.
